Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of Mycobacteria 0,00/5 (0 Valoración )

Since 2005, we have worked in the molecular mechanisms involved in the virulence and latency of mycobacteria, as well as the antimycobacterial compounds design. Currently, we have special interest in the ion trasport mediated by P-type ATPases in mycobacteria and its possible role in the M. tuberculosis attenuation. We like to use interdisciplinary experimental approaches: biochemistry, molecular biology, microbiology, physicochemistry, and bioinformatics. We also find to train graduate and undergraduate students in the designing and developing of research projects in molecular microbiology.
